WSFMA Home > Annual Conference Awards NominationsEach year the Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA) recognizes outstanding Farmers Markets, Farmers Market Managers and Farmers for the value they add to their communities and for their diligent work connecting farmers to consumers through fresh, locally grown foods. The 2011 recipients will be honored during the Awards Reception at the 2012 WSFMA Conference, February 3 – 5, at the Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth, WA. So get busy, and nominate your favorites for these special awards, using the nomination forms found at the links below. Nomination forms need to be completed and submitted by January 6, 2012. A committee of WSFMA partners and stakeholders will review the nominations and choose the winners. Like last year, the WSFMA board will recognize the winners during Farmers Market Week 2012 and work with managers to organize tours and promote shopping at all farmers markets. Categories are the same as last year, details a little different. Anyone can nominate for any category! Please think about which managers you look to as leaders, a special farmer who helps make your market sparkle or a market that shines with a vibrant atmosphere, excellent selection and good sales for vendors.
