Importance of TrainingBecause WSFMA Farmers and Volunteers are everyday people and because of the dynamics involved in farming and volunteering at farmers market, it is important for our WSFMA volunteers to receive the best training possible. This kind of specialized, professional training is not always readily available in our local area. However, every year in January at the Annual WSFMA Conference, farmers and volunteers have the opportunity to hear from a wide variety of professionals who specialize in many of the situations that arise during the market season and farming year.
